Scott and Jinna

Scott and Jinna are expecting a baby girl in April...  They are going to name her Aspen... so sweet.  Scott and I actually went to high school together.  We hung out quite a bit a few years back, but lost touch about four years ago.  He contacted me about a month ago and asked if I'd shoot some photos of him and Jinna.  

This shoot was magical... Scott and Jinna have so much love for each other.  Both of them are so happy in love and I couldn't be more thrilled.  Expect to see a lot more of these two and baby Aspen in my photos.  Congratulations you two.  So happy to reconnect with you Scott and have an amazing journey on the train tomorrow.  Sounds like so much fun.

Tiff and Matty

Tiffany is one of my best friends in the world.  She and Matt are expecting their first baby... Jack Blado.  Love the name.  We very rarely get to see each other and even worse than that, we never see each other during the Holidays.  She spends Christmas in Lake Tahoe every year and I happen to be just a short drive from there.  I got to spend most of the day with her and her family and we decided to get some pregnancy pictures.  So much fun... but sooooo cold.  My fingers were so numb that I couldn't even push the button anymore.  That's when we knew the shoot was over.  After... Mickey, her mom, fed us homemade Chicken and Dumplings that were to die for.  Such a wonderful day.  Enjoy the photos!  :)

Quick stats about Yann:  French National Team Gymnast.  Performer in Cirque Du Soleils "O"...  Helped with the creation of Franco Dragone's Le Reve.  Performer in Le Reve for five years.  Currently on tour with Cirque Du Soleils "Totem."

Quick stats about Kiana:  Has daddy wrapped around her finger.  A ball full of energy.  Rarely sits down, unless to sit in my lap and share looking at photos of herself.  Angelic face.  Coolest little girl ever.

Mommy and Me West Harvest Party

Kids in Halloween costumes at a park = perfect!  I've photographed so many adult parties and this was really my first with the little ones.  I love it!  Little kids are absolutely amazing.  They are so aware of everything going on.  So many times, I would aim my camera in the direction of one of the kiddos and they would instantly notice.  If only we as adults could be as present as the little ones.  :)
